Give Away!!!

So the GIVE AWAY is here!!!
Before you see it I'm going to take you through how it was made!
My inspiration cane from Naptime Decorator Who I found on my Pinterest.

So here we go...
I told My dad about wanting to make this and what i would need and he just happened to have this piece of wood that was perfect for it.
These are my lawn Chairs and they came in handy so we could cut the wood in half.

now we have two 24X24 pieces

I spray painted them white and set then on the table in the screened in porch to dry over night

after going to the farmer's market the next morning I got to work taping off my chevrons.

on mine i gig skinny chevrons and on the give away i put fat ones.

I had paint left over from when I had painted my room a few years back and it was the perfect color.

After painting them I left them to dry.

When they were most of the way dry I started removing the tape. And then I let them dry the rest of the way.

Next I grabbed some computer paper to give me an idea of where i wanted to put the frames.
And then using some acrylic paint and a stencil to add little birds to the corners.

Here is the thermometer hanging in the porch.  You can see how the paint dried so fast!  and it is hotter outside of the porch.

Lastly I painted on some stampin' up paper with a cute saying i found on pinterest.
And then framed it Hot Glued it onto the wood.
This is the one I will be giving away!

Close up of the little birds.

Mine I put a Picture of me and the boys!

So Here is how you Enter to win!
1) to enter leave a comment below and If for some reason you try to leave a comment  and it wont work just leave a comment on my Facebook.
2) you can only Enter only once.
3) I will put everyone's name in a bowl and video myself drawing the name so you can see who wins!

I had a lot of fun making these and I hope you had fun reading about it!

So while i sit here thinking about working out and what i should tidal this post, I hear Harley in my head saying "its Fun Friday".  They love give names to the workout based on the day.  Wednesdays are Hurricane Wednesdays, the toughest day of the week.  But also my favorite!  So I thought might as well call today's post Fun Friday since it is my encouraging workout post!  so with out further a due here are the encouraging images!!!

So I've started my weekend craft and i'm so excited to get to share it with you.  I'm going to the farmers market in the morning and then will be working more on the giveaway after that.

Sandwich Shapes

Zachary loves PB&Js I think if he could that is what he would have at every meal.  and they have fun sandwich cutters that makes it all the better. so I thought i'd share them with you.
Here they are...
This one we use when we make grill cheese cheesy triangles.  Don't you love how we change the names of things to get kids more interested in them?  Super heroes are the push right now :)

This one i use every now and then with Liana's sandwiches

And this is the PB&J cutter and Z has informed his mommy that only Miss Jennifer can cut Dinos out the right way.  It always cracks me up how we can all do something the same way yet it can taste or be completely different when it was not the original person doing it.

Below i'll show you them getting cut and the finished sandwiches.  I don't have any pics of the cheesy triangles since I have not made them in a while, I'll try to remember to take a picture next time i make them :)

This is a turkey and cheese sandwich

this is the PB&J

As you can see they are great for the anti Crust fans out there plus a fun shape makes everything better!

Oh and I'm hoping to have a give away early next week if my weekend craft plans go as well as i'm hoping!

*you can get the sandwich cutters at Walmart.  I've found them hanging by the cereal and in the baby clothing/toy section. They have ones with hearts and dolphins at times too.

UPDATE: On The Move

So i thought i'd share an update on the latest news and information I have on the move.
1.  The Boylan's are officially in Nashville they left yesterday But I was lucky enough to get to see them off.
(last pick I took of the boys together)

2. I went by my apartment office and asked about how they do the breaking of leases for those moving out of town (my hope was they would be kind to me since it was not just to move into another place in Jackson.) But no such luck.  Turns out i have to give 2 months notice and pay for those two month and I can live in my apartment for those two months then I have to pay a fee for breaking the lease of one additional months worth of a lease. (this makes life tough).

(This is my apartment complex)
And below is my living room the second day after I moved in. This was one of the first times Caleb ever had a TV at his level so you can see i created a wall to keep him from pushing over my TV.

3. So I will be going to the office tomorrow to give my two month notice so that July 31st will be the last day in my apartment. then depending on weather or not Brandon has found a job will depend on what my next step will be. if He does not have a job by July 31st I will move home with my parents and start saving money to get an apartment in Nashville.  If he does have a Job I will most likely pot my Stuff in storage or my parents garage and move in with the Boylan's for a month or two to save the money for my apartment.

I Love this show and I can wast hours watching it. Below is the trailer for the next season and it s to funny!

Thank you Again for all the prayers and kind thoughts for my move.  And to my friends in Nashville I may need a second Nanny Job when I get there so please let me know if you hear anything. Also I'm still looking for a little extra work here in Jackson if anyone needs some help :)

Happy Birthday Andrew

Today is Andrew's 26th Birthday and to celebrate we're having a little party.  Trying to come up with a theme took a little work but while we were out shopping it came to me...Andrew's favorite things.  So we would decorate with things he loves and enjoys.  So today I thought i'd share with you the Banner I made for it.  I normal would only use Stampin' Up stuff but with the theme we went to Hobby Lobby and got different paper to have the different things he likes/enjoys on it. So here we go.

First I used the Big Shot to cut out all my (labels Collection) Shapes.

Then I cut my Pattern paper in half. so i then had two 6x12 pieces. I then cut off about 3-4 inches off the bottom of my 6x12 pieces.

Next I folded the paper in half and pinched the bottom so i would know the center of my paper. I then cut from the pinch to the corner to make mt flags.
*Note* makes sure you watch the pattern and pinch the bottom and not the top because the pinch will become the point of you flag.

Here are all my flags I was able to get two flags from one 12x12 piece of paper.

Then I tested different colors to see which one i liked best.  I liked basic black best and went with it.

Next I wrote out "Happy Birthday Andrew!" on my shapes and glued them to my flags. Then I hole punched the top corners of my flags.

Then using 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon in old olive I weaved the flags on to the ribbon. I decided I liked the ribbon showing in the front better so I went that way.
*Note* String all your flags before cutting you ribbon off the spool. Stampin' Up ribbon is great for this because you get 15 yards on one spool.
I did one word per ribbon because of the space I was putting it in but,you could put all the words together too.

*Sorry if the pictures are Fuzzy I took them with my phone and the camera seems to act up every now and then.

So there you have it a birthday banner to be proud of. and great thing is when you make your own it is easy to match your theme.
