Random Photos

So I thought I would share some random photos I've taken or come across that i found funny, or interesting.
The first two I took myself out and about town.
This hawk was just hanging out with this truck at target.
This just cracked me up. It was like they were saying don't feed your car junk food but please fuel your body with it.
The rest are pictures I've come across online.
I want to be this girl. I know i can run in the shoes :)
 Totally me!

I love to read. My dad and i find book stores to be the most dangerous stores to go to.
Reminds me of the birds in the Walmart McDs.

If you have not figured out yet i'm kinda a nerd :)

Do you enjoy spotting the funny and intresting things around your town?

Powerscourt Garden

So We left Dublin and on our way to Powerscourt Gardens we stopped for Lunch at Jonnie Fox's.  It was a quaint little pub.  The tables were made from other things like a bed or an old sewing machine.
Then We headed on to Powerscourt Gardens

It is BEAUTIFUL!!!

All the above pictures are the House, Italian Garden, and Triton Lake
Next is the Japanese Garden

Then Tower Valley

In the tower
Made it to the top
 Views from the top

Gate at entrance of the tower.  We had a lot of fun goofing off here!

More of the Italian Garden as we left.
We then headed to Ferns to see this castle.
But it was closed for off season so we did not get to go up in it.
We then Headed off to County Cork and found a hotel in Cobh
the Commodore Hotel It was right on the water in a building built in 1854.

Like I said a great view from the hotel room. We stayed two nights here so these pictures are from the next day. We arrived after dark the first night. And poor Andrew passed out after all the driving.

Hope you enjoyed another day in Ireland!

Trifle

I thought today I'd share my Recipe for my favorite trifle. So here is the Recipe...

Chocolate Delight Trifle!
1 (18 ½ oz) package chocolate cake mix
3 (3 ½ oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix, (I used regular but you can use sugar free)
2 cups whipped cream
2 Tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
Chocolate sauce or syrup, for garnish (I used Hershey’s syrup)
1 cup peanut butter chips (or your favorite nut)

Directions
Prepare the cake mix according to package directions and bake in a 13 by 9 pan. Let cool thoroughly, then cut the cake into cubes about the size of walnuts.
Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package directions.
In a medium bowl whip the cream with the sugar until stiff.
To Assemble: In a trifle bowl, layer half the chocolate cake cubes, pudding, whip cream, chocolate sauce or syrup (just drizzle it) and peanut butter chips.  Repeat, layering the remaining ingredients, ending with whip cream. Drizzle decoratively with chocolate sauce or syrup and sprinkle on peanut butter chips.

Feel free to play around with it and use your favorite desserts!

It's V-Day

So I thought I'd share a little V-Day giving and other heart things.  First the little gift I made for each of my two year olds in Sunday school. I used all stampin up things to make it.
Next Pictures of the cute bags I found for each of the kiddos. I had a total of eight but two have been sent to my niece and nephew and two others ave been delivered.  but they looked like these too.
Now to a gift I received from my boys It is the worlds biggest card.  I took a picture of it in front of my TV to try to show you how big it is.
Have you ever melted Heart shaped candles? I have and like the one above in front of the TV have always burnt well...but not these ones...
Kinda scary monsters now, This is a before...
and last but not lease something to make you laugh.

Happy Valentine's Day!
